Summer 2011 has brought big changes to California’s teacher tests! CSET-MS, RICA, and CTEL are now entirely computer-based; CBEST’s computer version is now available year-round; CSET single subject exams are still paper-based but are now offered in the morning sessions. And news is just beginning to appear about the new Mathematics Instruction Authorization Examination for multiple-subject teachers.
That’s a lot of change to digest--for you and for your students.
If you’ve got questions about teacher tests--when they’re given, how they work, how not to let them drag you or your students off course--this is a place to start to find answers.
